The Second Encompass Dragon Boat Regatta
Saturday 23rd July, 2005 saw the first Encompass Dragon Boat Regatta. The event was held in London’s Royal Albert Dock.
Teams battled it out to be crowned the Big Splash winners and in so doing, raise money for the Encompass Trust.
On the day the originally named team Male Muscle stole the title, helping to raise, on the day, in excess of £14,000! Most importantly however, the sun shone and a good time was had by all.
And now the news you have all been waiting for!!! We are pleased to announce that racing will re-commence on Saturday 1st July 2006! Yes, the event is going annual! So come on Male Muscle, it’s time to defend your crown!
