The first Encompass skills training!

Sunday 18th April marked the first ever Encompass training session: An Introduction to Workshop Facilitation Skills, facilitated by Mohammed Mamdani, a young social entrepreneur.

The training was an opportunity for UK members of Encompass to gain essential skills which will enable them to play a leading role in Stage 1 of the new Encompass strategy: delivering fun, interactive and vibrant workshops to young people at youth groups across London.

This will be the first of many training opportunities to come, and those who take part are then able to join the Encompass Trainee Facilitators Committee, working with Encompass to deliver workshops in schools and youth groups, raising awareness of issues around cultural diversity and supporting more young people to embark on their very own ‘Journey of Understanding’.

Encompass is working with a variety of schools and youth groups across London, and we are always on the lookout for opportunities to work with new organisations! If you would like Encompass to deliver our workshops at your school or youth group, contact us today!
