The Diversity in Scotland REUNION!
Glasgow was the venue of the ‘Diversity in Scotland’ reunion where the participants from the October programme once again came together to meet the friends they made, take part in training workshops, and have fun!
After the session on the ‘Diversity in Scotland’ programme where participants shared their ideas on how to make positive changes within their local communities and spread the Encompass ideals of intercultural understanding and tolerance, Encompass decided that some training on how to develop these ideas was exactly what the group needed!
With workshops focusing on social analysis, presentation skills, budgeting and fundraising, and communication skills, the participants made the most of their 2-day reunion, which finished with a Dragon’s Den-style presentation of their ideas to Snezana and Josh, the trainers for the event.
We’re really impressed to see the dedication of the group to take their Encompass experiences further, and we will continue supporting them in developing these ideas and making them happen. So watch this space for all the latest developments!!
