The Diversity & Dialogue National Youth Forum
Encompass was proud to see some of its alumni as the Youth Committee of the Citizenship Foundation Diversity & Dialogue National Youth Forum on Friday 25th April at the Rich Mix Cultural Foundation in London.
Rijia, Jason, Fanial, Wez and Carmen (as well as friends of Encompass Habiba and Milo) impressed an audience of young people, youth workers and representatives from various youth organisations from all over the UK with a range of exciting and interesting workshops they have been organising for the past few months.
The subjects of the workshops represented the issues that young people and society are facing today:
Rijia and Habiba: Preventing Violent Extremism/Anti-Terror Laws
Wez: Climate Change
Jason and Fanial: Transitions in Life
Carmen: Unwanted Sexual Contact
Encompass is delighted that these alumni have gone on to develop their public speaking, facilitation and organisational skills to speak out about the things that matter to them.
