G-Nation Awards
On October 11th Encompass attended the G-Nation Award Ceremony. The G-Nation scheme rewards schools across the country for their fundraising efforts.
Schools are encouraged to think about why people start charities and incorporate this into their fundraising program. At the end of the year the entries are judged and the winning school announced at the G-Nation Award Ceremony.
This year the winning school was Hereford Technology School in Grimsby and they will be joining a group of Iraqis, Israelis, Palestinians and Americans on the second Journey of Understanding in the Lake District. Well done to Hereford School and to all the other competing schools!
