Encompass is a proud supporter of the Bali Peace Park

The mission of the Bali Peace Park is to create a spiritual garden on the Sari Club site (the site of the 2002 Bali bombings in which Daniel Braden and 201 others lost their lives) for persons to reflect upon and acknowledge the terrorist attack on October 12th 2002, along with all acts of terror worldwide.
Encompass is proud to support the Bali Peace Park, as an organisation with a very similar mission to ourselves: to help build a future without fear by promoting tolerance, understanding and freedom for generations to come, irrespective of nationality, culture, religious belief or race.
A message from the Bali Peace Park Association:
“The Bali Peace Park Association Inc is a not-for-profit charity organisation based in Perth WA. Following the 2002 and 2005 Bali bombings where a large number of people from within the Perth community were affected, it prompted discussions as to what the future of the long vacant ex-Sari Club site would be. It was apparent that the Balinese Government would not allow a commercial development on the site and so a group of survivors and their families came together with a common goal to develop this land into a ‘Peace Park’. The concept received immense support from within the Balinese community itself to become a place of quite reflection reinforcing the Association’s vision of building a future without fear, by promoting tolerance, understanding and freedom for generations to come, irrespective of nationality, culture, religious belief or race. The project is designed to have international significance in the heart of one of the world’s most famous and popular tourist destinations as it is not only for those affected by the Bali terrorist attacks, but anyone affected by any act of terrorism world-wide. Together we can make a difference!”
