Encompass in Scotland

Encompass made a two-day visit to Scotland this week in preparation for our Diversity in the UK and Diversity in Scotland programmes which will take place in July and October 2008 respectively.

We met with BEMIS (Black and Ethnic Minority Infrastructure in Scotland), YCSA (Youth Community Support Agency), the Scottish Youth Parliament and the Granton Youth Centre, and we very much look forward to working with these organisations in finding enthusiastic young people who would benefit from taking part in one of our programmes.

While it was only a flying visit, we were still able to take in some of the beautiful Scottish scenery, the spectacular architecture of Edinburgh and Glasgow, and some rain and sunshine for good measure!

Encompass is very excited about welcoming applications to our upcoming programmes from young people from all over the UK!
