Encompass at the British Council/iCoCo conference

On 28th and 29th January Encompass attended the ‘Communities in Action: People and Practice’ conference, hosted by the British Council and the Institute of Community Cohesion (iCoCo).
This conference, held in Manchester, brought together voluntary organisations, national and local government, the business and education communities representing all manner of projects from across the UK and as far afield as Jordan, Turkey and Pakistan. Key themes were national and international perspectives on community cohesion and creative ways of bringing communities together.
Erika and Eric from Encompass were thrilled to be invited to speak about ‘Young people and participation’ and the way in which Encompass brings together young people from diverse backgrounds.
All in all, these were an informative, interesting and exciting 2 days!
