Thank you so much for requesting an ENCOMPASS, Big Splash Fundraiser registration pack. We are delighted that you want to join us to raise awareness and vital funds for reconciliation programmes for young people across the globe. Thank you.

The Big Splash Fundraiser will take place at the The London Regatta Centre in the Docklands (see enclosed map) on Saturday 23rd July 2005, starting at 9.00am. The Big Splash fundraiser will involve around 14 teams taking part in our all day Dragon Boat Racing on the River Thames. We look forward to welcoming you and your team mates and remember the emphasis for the day will be well and truly on having fun. There will be prizes for the winning team, the team that has collectively raised the most funds, the best dressed team and the individual who has raised the most. The racing will be followed by steel band music and an early evening buffet at the Chinese restaurant situated above the London Regatta Centre. There will also be refreshments available to purchase throughout the day (no alchoholic drinks until you come off the water though!). Friends and family are welcome to come and cheer you on from the rivers edge.

Please find the following enclosed (as PDFs below) in your Big Splash Fundraiser registration pack:

  • Registration form – You will need to complete this and return to ENCOMPASS with your £50 non-refundable registration fee.
  • Sponsor form(s) – these can be photocopied if you think you are going to need more. REMEMBER you need to raise a minimum of £150 (not including your registration fee).
  • Sponsorship Hints and Tips and Pledge Form – advice to help you reach you minimum £150 target. If you are unable to bring your sponsorship money on the day, please complete the pledge form at the bottom of this sheet showing the amount you hope to raise and hand to one of the ENCOMPASS team at the registration desk.
  • Directions and important information sheet.
